Never knew that about the mix up with Viognier! And that bottle you recommended sounds great - I had a really good blend that used Roussanne from Tablas Creek last time I was in Paso, but I don't think I've ever had a 100% Roussanne. Will definitely need to track one down. Cheers!
@Tannic - Jaffurs out of Santa Barbara does a 100% Roussane as well, one o my faves, AND they do a 100% Marsanne, which I actually prefer. It's fascinating tasting the two side by side.

Yes, I have had that Tablas blend too when I visited them. It is fun to taste 100% Roussanne to understand its automatic contribution to blends!

I adore their wines! Great post.
Thanks so much for your continued attention Kate! I loved their whole range too! We brought in their Syrah and CS! Yum!
I really am enjoying the maps - it helps to place regions and sub regions.
This is an awesome Rousanne at an awesome price as well. A step up, in my view, from Tablas Creek’s whites from Rhone varieties
I think so too! Just an elevated version with more complexity and depth!
