First off, the picture of that production facility complete with steam cleaner is why so many normies think that being in the wine business is 'living the dream'. Come to my place in full harvest or nearly anywhere in Dry Creek and see if we have a uniform set of concrete tanks like that.
More importantly, yeah, for the money Lalande de Pomerol has some good stuff. I just had a Plaisir de Siaurac 2019 which was fabulous 70 MR 15 CS 15 MB (that's right, Malbec in a high concentration) and the Petrus winemaker is the consultant on the wine.
I love this wine! Drinking so well right now! Not a huge producer so itbmay be hard to find... but there will be some Lalande de Pomerols out there for you! 😍
